The location was perfect and peaceful, just a short walk away from a beautiful sandy beach, making our stay here delightful.

There was no air conditioning and I could here the man next door snoring all night. Once tax was added, one night in a single bed (double room - but two single beds with table in between) cost 50 Euros. In my opinion not worth the money.

location of the hotel was relatively convenient for us - near the railway station (we came to the hotel from Valencia and went from there to Madrid), two and a half small blocks from the Plaza de los Luceros, from the underground station under which trams go on different routes, we went to Benidorm. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the nearest point of the central El Postiguet beach in the city. windows of the room (we had a 2nd floor, in this hotel corresponds to the 4th floor in our opinion) went outside and room was bright during the day. floor in the room and bathroom, as well as the worktops on three levels (above the minibar, on the desk and on the stand for suitcases) were made of artificial stone. At the exit to a rather wide and long balcony (there was one plastic armchair on it), air conditioner stopped working, when the sliding balcony door was carefully closed, air conditioner resumed its work. bathtub was completely delayed by two curtains, it was possible to take a shower without fear that water would get on the floor. Breakfast was held on the E floor (2nd in our opinion), where (from what we saw) in addition to the restaurant there was a bar, conference room and salons. On floor B (1st in our own or ground floor in English) there was a foyer with a counter, behind which there were often changing porters, a cafe from the same hotel adjoining the foyer. porter could explain himself in English, at times he was accompanied by a Russian-speaking woman. Another Russian-speaking employee cleaned the tables and introduced new dishes during breakfast. Many of the inscriptions in the hotel were in 5 languages (Valencian dialect of Catalan, Spanish, English, French and German), not a single inscription was found in Russian, seemed rather strange given the large number of Russian-speaking guests. staff was friendly, on a free paper map of the city, porter, in addition to the location of the hotel, marked what you ask. Room cleaning was good.
noisy air conditioner, not only hummed loudly, also made a crackle and some other strange sounds. switch of the air conditioner was located above the nightstand between the beds and was a vernier with several fixed positions marked by clicks. it had only two modes of operation: on/off - in two positions: about 4 hours and about 8 hours. It did not affect the noise of the air conditioner operation. Next to the beds there were no electrical sockets, to connect the chargers we had to use two sockets in a tee-extender on the minibar (the mini fridge itself was connected to one socket) and socket from the TV - anyway it had to be switched off for the night: the blue LED was too bright. There were only five hangers in the closet - you can do it, I would like more. It also had a small safe about half a century ago, for the key to the safe required an extra 2 euros per day. continental breakfast with a modest selection of dishes (for example, only one type of unpalatable cheese, for us to some extent was compensated by the presence of an omelette in the first days) and baking for 7 nights spent in the hotel had time to pile up. In recent days a group of 12 Russian wrestlers (mostly from the North Caucasus) plus coaches and other escorts appeared in the hotel. Young healthy organisms needed appropriate food, so if we did not have time to get to breakfast before them (and they came almost to the opening; at 7:30 just started laying out dishes and cutlery), we had to pick up the crumbs left after the "locust invasion". omelette flew away in the first place, it was not always possible to wait for its renewal in the distribution container... separate song is the work of Wi-Fi in the room. Such an unstable connection to the Internet we have never met in our lives! Even the lowest speed free Wi-Fi on an ALSA moving coach will give you 100 points for connection in this hotel.

The room was a good size for a double bedroom, free Wi-Fi, climate control, a little balcony, and a safe were nice amenities.

The price was reasonable compared to similar hotels in the area.
Rooms very dated. Very thin walls with noisy guests all night long. Lifts make a terrible noise that keep you awake all night.

The Hotel was well priced for the facilities offered
The Hotel is tired, likley last fitted out 3 years ago and the fittings and finishes show that. The rooms are basic and at the time of our stay in November, the heating was not on leaving the rooms cold. There is an attached cafe at ground floor open to the public and a first floor restuarant for the hotel. We did not use the restuarant in the evenings. A basic continental breakfast was provided.

When I am in Alicante, I like staying here. This is a very nice old hotel with very friendly staff in the cafeteria and in the reception desk. The location is perfect and quiet, not far from the Luceros bus stop, and grocery shops, restaurants, merchandise stores, banks. Also, it's walking distance to Plaza de Los Luceros.

As a three star hotel, you get more than what you would have expected for the price. A cleanly, well managed hotel, with excellent helpful staff. The location of the hotel is just a big plus!
As a business traveler, Internet connectivity was not that reliable at Hotel Leuka. Worst case scenario was that I lost Wifi signal in my room for 3 days. At the lobby, there was a week signal, but the speed was crippling slow.
